* Welcome to the Clarksburg Model Aviation Club!

Founded in 1930, the Clarksburg Model Aviation Club is an AMA charted group of model aviation enthusiasts located in and around Clarksburg, WV. We vary in age, experience, background, even in the aircraft we build and fly.

We are most often found at the club flying spot, Don Harrold Field, on weekends when the weather is nice - but a few of us are known to fly in less than ideal conditions from time to time!

We fly everything from small foamies to giant scale builds, fixed wing to multirotors, and everything in between. Indoors, outdoors, at the field or in the back yard!

While visiting our website, please feel free to check out our event calendar for upcoming meetings, flying events, and get-togethers. We also have a media gallery with photos and videos from our flights.

If you are interested in joining, or just have a general interest in model aviation and would like some more information, please feel free to contact our club officers via email at officers@cmac1193.com.

Welcome to the new CMAC forum!

Flight Fest is this coming weekend. July 11-14. Its in Malvern Ohio again this year. About a 3 hour drive.
If you have not been to one I recommend it. It's lots of fun
to watch especially the combat when you have MANY planes in the air.
They have vendors, food and camping and Flight Test has a tent full of planes.
This is ALL electric, no nitro except for a couple demo flights.
A very good time for the kids also, they have a tent setup for building.

CMAC will be holding our annual Micro Fly-In on Sunday, July 14th from 4pm until dark.

[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

A different sort of fly-in.  Fly anything as long as it is powered by a single cell lipo of 600mAh or less.

We'll have events for fixed wing, helis, spot landing, drag racing, endurance - whatever we can come up with!

This will be a great opportunity for new and potential members to come meet the club and find out what we are all about.  Also, prizes will be available... and Pizza!  (Sorry, no pineapple or anchovies.)

Got some old RC junk you want gone?  Want someone else's junk?  Bring it out to the field for a good ole swap meet!
